He seems like a dentist to me, he is just a wierd guy on the internet.
The internet has an interesting tendancy to bring out a more
extroverted and odd personality.

Besides, I'm sure his jovial attitude would help if you were in the
chair at his office. A bit of fun helps break the tension
dramatically.
