George,

While you are discussing dentistry in Britain, there is something I noticed
in the education system. There seems to be a lot of training available for
technicians or clinicians for facial prosthetics, beyond the typical
dentures. Where in Canada we have none. The USA has its training in this
area linked with their armed forces/veterans facilities.

Is there a reason for what appears to be so much of this training available
there? Like higher cancer rates? Less surgical correction? or do you have
high numbers of war/peace-keeping casualties like the US?

Or does this have something to do with the NHS and oral CA not being
recognized soon enough to minimize the invasiveness of the procedures.

Just wondering why. Plus the programs did look interesting since nothing was
available in Canada.
