If you know a bit about physics, namely Bernoulli's equation;
and its application to aerodynamics;
this would not surprise you a bit.

Mebbe you should do a bit of "research" into a racing aeroplane
called the 'Gee-Bee'.

Wing design is based on Bernoulli's equation as is sail design.
