This thread should be laid to rest. Go ahead; you do the honors. You're
good at that.

WHAT an Idea!!!!! OH My GOD!!!!
Seriously: I HAVE tried to weigh him on our bathroom scale by bringing
it down. It's not sensitive enough to detect my weight as different from
my weight plus a nervous little guy that I'm stroking and trying to keep
calm. He's a miniature rabbit. I have a photo or two and I'll fish them
out and post them. (Hard to get a close up, he keeps licking the camera
Many animals do this with cameras. I don't know why.). It's rarely that
he likes to be picked up. He'll walk all over you if you lie down, and
especially if you've just run around in the hot sun (sweat has a lot of
salt in it) he'll lick you to death. He'll eat your hair if you put your
head down, he'll jump and play (supposedly rare for rabbits) but he
really doesn't like to be picked up. When my wife is watching the little
TeeVee sitting on the old couch in the kids' play room, he'll jump up
beside her and tug at her sleeve until she strokes him and scratches
behind his ears. He won't let her stop all the while she's sitting
there. He's no dog, of course, but he's not as independent as most cats
I know. When you come home, he wants his five minutes of stroking by way
of greeting. He'd be a good snack for your dog.
Cheers
