Google/gnutella/whatever for downloads, passwords and cracks. It's
amazing what you can find on the net. Remember, it's very nearly a
civic duty to steal M$oftware. There's also Open Office, which is free
and can deal with Word docs. Word Perfect can read and sometimes write
Word documents, at least the linux version can.

It's so cheesy that older versions of Word can't read documents written
by newer versions. That in itself justifies costless acquisition.
