Agreed 100 percent..... it must be a NTI device and not
a chunk of wax covering all teeth. Like you said the
chuck of wax actually GIVES the muscles something to
bear down on.

However..... my question is whether there is a frugal
NTI-like device that one can buy? One that ONLY clips
over two front teeth and keeps all teeth from touching

I don't mind eventually letting my dentist make a
custom design jobbie.... but Id like to try out a cheap
one for awhile to see if it really does help before
committing to the more expensive custom made one.

Sorry bout the confusion guys. Again.... Im ONLY
interested in NTI "clones"..... not the full mouth
guard like an athletes wears.
