Why six implants??
I'm having the remaining five lower teeth extracted.
There will be six implants on teeth 19,21,23,26,28 and
30. They will be connected by bars which will support an
overdenture which runs from tooth 19 to tooth 30. From
what I've read, six implants seems like a lot to support
that overdenture. I've read cases of two or four implants
supporting a lower overdenture but not six. What might
contribute to the need for six implants?
