pain on side of gums, after extraction?

Had my #19 molar extracted on monday. Pain from the extraction is
pretty much gone, however I have developed pain on the outside of the
gums(facing the cheek). It is a surface pain, not a deep pain. It
feels almost like kcnker soar pain, but no soar is visible. Is it
possible there could be an infection from one of the injections? Any
other ideas?
