No one will argue that malpractice suits are a significant factor in the cost of healthcare.
I don't feel that it is an unreasonable issue to raise. Should a person
getting free healthcare have the right to sue the physician or dentist that is providing the service?
Why would a dentist want to get involved with a program that will lose
money, occupy time when he could be actually making money, create a hassle with the added paperwork, and at the same time increase the possibility of a lawsuit.
IMO, it's better to just do some free stuff for people that I find deserve it.
