That's comforting! I hope never to be his patient.
That may be more a reflection of him being a pharmacist than a poor candidate. When I was in Pharmacy school, the general perception and popularly held belief was that it was difficult for candidates with Pharmacy degrees to get in to medical/dental schools because admission boards for these schools felt that pharmacists already had a profession and a way to make a living. It sounds like an urban myth to me know but that is how it felt back in the 70's.
