I've been happy with the denture cleanser method. I buy the cheapo
Walgreen's or other generic tablets, then break them in quarters. Each
quarter is about right to fizz up the little rectangular NTI container
when filled with water. Note that the hotter the water, the better the
fizz. I've come home after 12 hours to find the tablet undissolved in
water that didn't start out warm. The package lasts for months when you
just use 1/4 tablet per day.
