My own toy,,,,,,,,,,,, the engine came back about ten days ago. Weekend
before last, I spent all day Saturday re-fitting it, cleaning and painting
various parts, setting timing (both static with a dial indictor through the
spark plug hole, and dynamically). Got everything set up really nice, went
to back it out of the garage for a test run and the second push of the brake
pedal split a metal brake line open (turns out a previous water leak on the
floor rusted out the line). So, I still have the 2-stroker parked idle for
a while. Dad is in town this week, Going to Virginia the Holiday weekend,
hope to go to Toronto the last weekend of this month (are you listening
Roy?), maybe next weekend I can take the time to pull up the floor covering
and get to the brake lines.
