It is like I already said, Sue: there are no fancy bells and whistles
here. There is very little BULL*** here. The type of dentist who needs
to send "Hey, lookit me... Gawd, I'm good" style posts doesn't last more
than a week here.

Read the posts of the experienced Dentists here: they do _not_ blow
their own horns or verbally snap their suspenders. We have our serious
posters and our obnoxious clowns (Yours Truly belongs in that category,
I'll admit) but we DON'T have stuck-up smoke and mirrors types her AT
ALL. Think about it: Why does the SMD continue to survive in a computer
world that is becoming more and more Web- RSS- and Wireless-based?

'Cause there are those who see through that Bull***. Sure, it's fun,
sure, it catches the eye.

It's like I said before: these days, it takes that 'little extra' to
find UseNet and the SMD. Those who are unwilling to make that 'little
extra' effort.... well, they are mostly weeded out on the Web side,
don't you think?

There is never a WHOLE group that is unsatisfactory... I _do_ wish the
good eggs would wander over here though.... It really bugs me that there
some good scientists and clinicians over there that waste their
preachings on the rest of them.

JME is like me in that he clowns alot, and he also drags everyone but
the neighbors' cat in here, but he is _not_ disliked. It should be
obvious to you by now that JME is an _extremely_ intelligent man. That
is why I read most of his posts. He should be running a 'Dental United
Nations' group.
