If you cannot trust her with petty cash, you MUST get rid of her NOW ! As,
there is no way you can possibly trust her to do anything else right. Do
you know how many different ways she can steal money from you without
hitting the cash ? Do you have any idea how many patients you can lose by
her having a less than stellar attitude ? You need to give her all moneys
owed up to tomorrow, give her any owed vacation pay or personal time, give
her a week or two of advance wages, and tell her to have a nice life. If
you wife did not trust you, would she let you sleep in your own house ?
Does the farmer let the wolf sleep in the chicken coop ?
You don't need any staff. You only need yourself. Staff are only there to
make your day easier and more pleasant. When they stop doing that, it is
time for them to go. P-E-R-I-O-D !
