You do as you please, but I strongly suggest you push hard for what you
_NEED_ , not what they want. Start checking out other buildings in a five
mile radius today. It might be cheaper to move buildings. Besides, if the
practice has hit a plateau in the building you are in, you probably need to
move anyway.

Personally, I would not want to share physical space with physicians. Their
work is too different from ours. Most are sloppy. Many do not keep a clean
office. Then, there is the issue of how very different their staff is from
ours.

What happens when they wander over and grab your paper towels, soap, etc,
every time you are out of the building ?

Sharing secretarial areas can be a huge problem. First off, you have the
excessive socializing going on, because they are not socializing with fellow
employees, so they think it is ok. Then, you have the issue of who gets the
spot closer to the window, who gets which phone lines, who gets use of the
copier when the physician wants to copy 55 pages of reports.

Your situation may work perfectly and be far better than I could ever
imagine, but it could also be a real nightmare for you.
