People do not realize they diminish themselves when they steal or are
dishonest. And whether they realize it or not, they are setting a bad
example for family. Even small children have a way of knowing what is
going on, whether one tries to hide their actions or not.
Still I can understand some of the looting from the hurricane if it were
food or actual necesssities. The govenment should have allowed the
storekeepers to give their food away and reimburse them. That would be the
same as bringing food in, only more immediate.
