What a minute isn't the tooth dead? You mean the jaw bone fills in?
(I'm still not an expert on RC). If that is what you mean that would
seem to be a poor
indicator of infection. Doesn't the jaw try to seal off infection?

And if you extract a tooth and then see no infection on the x-ray do
you, (as has happened to some people i talk with), send the patient
away
and tell them they are crazy? My understand is to find some of these
legions
you really have to get up in the jaw and do some real surgery. Maybe
that's why the endonists are ahead of the ADA in their acceptance of
NICO, there are closer to the problem.


It would be interesting to know what the exact frequency of NICO is. It
can't
be that common, on the other hand cavitations would be separate from
NICO, perhaps more common.
