Question about teeth.

I need to resolve an inconsistency about some dental treatment.

My prosthodontist wants to cap my upper front teeth because they are now
very worn down and short.

But I have heard it may be possible to have them lengthened by pulling them
down by some orthodontic procedure. And some years ago I had similar
orthodontic work which involved straightening and relocating a lower first
molar which was pulled up too, so that a crown on that one became
unnecessary.

Please help, Peter
