This statement should be part of an informed consent with signature
agreement before the topical anesthetic is even placed. Neither dentists
nor patients insist enough on the fact that, unfortunately, the tooth
may indeed ALREADY BE SICK.
Tho W_B's patients must be tired of hearing this schpiel, they KNOW what
is going on and what may happen.
'Course, W_B is a weird-o who howls at the full moon, but that's another
story.
