I have a creamy like discharge coming from the Wharton's duct. The
ENT who did the surgery told me twice that the ends of the Salivarey
gland were knoted at the point of removal and no further discharge
would be coming from the duct. I reseached discharge and found that
the discharge is usually from the Parotid gland.
My question is: Can a bad upper back root canal or tooth cause
dischrage from any of the ducts in the mouth and the Whartons duct at
the tip of the tongue?
I have done all the right things and hate to rush in a have teeth
pulled because I do not want to spend any more on root canals at age
sixty five.
What kind of specialis should I see?
Recommend a consultation with an Oral Maxillo-Facial Surgeon.
Commonly called an Oral Surgeon.
