Of course this was what the Enamelon people were trying to do. I can't say that it didn't work, but when something sounds too good to be true if generally is.
It is probably also a more efficient approach to try to minimize demineralization in the first place rather than trying to remineralize--esp. in an environment like the mouth where so many things are going on at the same time. Demonstrating remineralization in a test tube is one thing, but...
