Partial Pain

Got upper partial 4 days ago. Has two teeth on it. One side is killing me. The one tooth (#3) that the wire goes around has a dull ache but is extremely painful to chew on it. It feels like the tooth is being pulled forward too hard by the plate and wire. Is this normal to have so much pain? Can't get hold of dentist till Tuesday. Should I take the partial out until I can get to talk to him?
