Need to get it seen to by somebody. Its not hurting constantly ONLY
when I try drinking/eating.
Am going to try
http://www.rlbuht.nhs.uk/content/default.asp?web=234&sub=549 in the
morning, hopefully they will take a look at it and tell me whether its
anything to worry about or not.
Everytime I try sucking on food or something too, the hole where the
tooth was taken out hurts.

I will try my best to describe how it looks -
tooth out, the gums next to where it was taken out, piece of bone very
painful to touch.
Where the tooth came out - a soft blob of something which tastes
horrible. I cant just get rid of it cause it might make the pain go
very bad.
Above that is the small-black spot. Only just came.

Its not hurting - but where I got the tooth out, there is now a soft

What is that do you think? I would love to get an appointment just to
get it all checked out, but "emergency-only"

But she did say if the pain gets very bad to give a ring back
tomorrow..

Explained the bone/horrible taste, and she said to take painkillers and
do the salt-mouthwash every 4 hours....

Or maybe I'm just worrying over nothing!
I'm waiting for the Dental Nurse to ring back.
Well, it certainly may be dry socket. Pain was what was missing from
your initial description.
Do call again. It is possible to pack the socket with a medicated
dressing and get significant relief.
Dry socket isn't dangerous, just a big PIA (or rather mouth).
Feel better,
Steve
