My major objective of doing orthodontics is to correct myoverbite
problem.

See my pictures below taken in late July 2005 right before I had
braces.

My ortho played around with my teeth slowly and slowly for almost two
years. Well, my teeth align much better now, but only a couple of
months ago, he started to correct myoverbite. Theoverbiteproblem is
still pretty bad. For example, under normal/regular facial
expression, my lips still don't naturally close and teeth are still
visible.

I live in Illinois right now, but will have to move to Washington DC
in May. I told my ortho today, and he wanted to rush to take off my
braces. I said, wait, myoverbiteproblem hasn't made any change
yet! He said, you need a littleoverbite. What a joke! If I need a
littleoverbite, why am I paying thousands of bucks and wearing braces
for 2 years!

I told him, I can come back after May if there is a need, but I need
to have myoverbiteproblem properly corrected. But looks like he
still wants to rush. I don't like what he said: "You need a little
overbite."

Is he suggesting that he has problem correcting myoverbiteproblem?

I believe everyone agree that without seeing your clinical photo
now....We can not give us any advice. You have crowding with littleoverbiteproblem from your pre-op photo that is what I can see. So
please post your photo now.- Hide quoted text -

I have been very busy with my finals. I have taken 4 pictures about
my teeth. See below for the link.

My overbite problem is inherited from my Mom.

I have been trusting my ortho, and I took it for granted that he could
correct my overbite problem like a breeze, but after nearly 2 years of
treatment, I still don't see any change about my overbite problem.
So, I asked him about this. He ridiculously said that I need an
overbite. I corrected him by saying that I don't need an overbite, I
need a normal bite. I told him that if he had told me this 2 years
ago, I would not have started the treatment with him. Eventually, he
said, he cannot correct my overbite problem and suggested me to go see
somebody else.

I have stopped my treatment with him and I am looking for another
ortho in the DC area.

Here are 4 pictures I took which show my overbite problem. Dear
orthodontists here, is my overbite problem correctable, judging from
these pictures?
