9 Teeth Extractions with Oral Surgeon in June.

Looking for some opinions on getting some bad teeth removed. I havent
had any dental work done in about 20 yrs and need 4 lower back molars
out; they were all with big cavities and filled when I was under 10. I
need 2 wisdom teeth and 2 teeth connected to those in the upper back.
Also 1 root canal tooth broke off so the roots need to come out. I
want to get knocked out and do it all at once, sick and tired of
getting sick from these teeth, happens once a year. Is it safe to do
them all at once and what kind of recovery time do I need and what
will that be like? 3 of the bottom molars are worn down to the gum
line and one guy said they will just "pop out" and be easy
extractions. This guy had lots of teeth removed at once. Is this guy
correct? I still will have 8 good molars with which to chew in front.
Could I go without getting a bridge or partial dentures? I have had a
dental phobia which is why I avoided dentists. But this guy is an Oral
Surgeon the nurse said.LOL She is right. Just looking to know what to
expect. The Oral Surgeon said have them all out on friday go back to
work on Monday. Is this too optimisitc? I really would appreciate some
input because I really need to take care of this. I must understand
that the dentist and or oral surgeon are my freinds and are there to
help me NOT hurt me even though the dentist I had as a kid was not
nice to me. Also I am being treated for depression and anxiety since
1994 and am on Prozac. Could these bad teeth be the CAUSE of the
depression? Was looking this subject up on the net and could not find
anything.
Thanks for the help.
