Complete Mouth X-Rays?

Hey guys.

My dentist wants to have me do a set of complete mouth x-rays.

He does not use a digital X-ray system.

It isn't 50 years old either - but I'm just wondering if it is worth the
exposure?

Should I consider having him send me to someone who has a digital system?
It's one thing to have X-rays done once a year, four total... It's another
to have enough to cover each tooth in detail.

Very interested in your opinions.

Thanks :)
