This is the worst one.

Given its low reimbursement to dentists, the least Medicaid patients
could do is to show up for their appointments. I can recall countless
Medicaid patients who won't show for a single appt but yet always
calls in to make one, solicit me for inappropriate prescription drugs,
are physically dangerous during the process of local anesthesia ( I
have been injured on the job ), threaten me over the phone because
they think their spouse/relative is more "deserving" of implants than
RPDs yet refuses to pay a single dollar for any dental work, won't
comply with post-care instructions, use excessive profanity, demand
ridiculous anterior crowns ( like having gold dollar signs on them ),
demand hospitality and dental procedures up to the standard of those
attaining Hollywood or CEO status, blame me for their ongoing
periodontitis.........the list goes on.

It's classless and not professional of me to say this on a public
newsgroup but I'm not embarrassed to be speak out the frank viewpoint
of someone who actually sees Medicaid patients.

I'm just one of many hardworking Medicaid providers and, quite often,
I wonder if I'm trying too hard.........

Only tried the Medicaid thingy for ~1 yr. shortly after graduation.

I would rather sit on my *** than work for free, or worse, at a lo$$.

Get out if you can.
