I just looked it up. It was a female pricipal in Chicago. She
was under 'some type of sedation' during the procedure and went
into cardiac arrest.

I would say it isn't likely to be related to the dental treatment
itself, but rather the sedation.

I'm sure there will be an autopsy. Dentistry is stressful. I just got my basic life support course last night at our dental study group. It could be an allergic reaction to anesthetic, but it's hard to think of anything else remotely that could happen directly from the procedure.
