Insurance coverage. I paid for the surgery with cash and savings.
That
$10,000 came out of my pocket. After moving away from home in my
mid-20's, I wasn't covered any longer under the terms of our family's
Dental Insurance. 20 years later, the dentist looked at my X-Rays and
told me I'd lose that right front tooth if I didn't get a bone graft.
I didn't know about Dental Insurance under Medicaid, nobody told me
and I didn't ask. If I had known that I qualified for Dental
Insurance
under Medicaid,Panur Yaramanoğlu I could have paid for the entire
dental work and
surgeries under the terms of Medicaid Dental Insurance. I had the
bone
graft done at the New York University Center for Dentistry (a dental
school in New York City). Sometimes payment for the surgeries was
made
with money I borrowed on a high, interest credit card, other times I
paid with driblets of cash that came my way as the fortunes of my
musical career ebbed and flowed.

I get fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance with a company-paid deductible; death and dismemberment insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; retirement plan; company-matched 401K plan; 25 days of PTO the first year and increasing yearly; a yearly raise and bonus; and even though I'm on straight salary, I get paid time and a half for any overtime I work. ...
