mesiodens, should I wait?

My daughter was found mesiodens when she took a routine dental x-ray .
The dentist told us to see an oral surgeon if the 2 upper front teeth
don't erupt by 7. Now my daughter is 6.5yr. She lost one of her upper
front tooth 2 week sago and the other one is very loose. I haven't see
the sign of new tooth so far. Is there a chance the extra teeth will
erupt (we were told one tooth is horizontal on x-ray)? Should we wait
or have the extra teeth extracted soon?
