Launching programs from EagleSoft (i.e. bridging)

I am trying to figure out how to launch another program from EagleSoft
for a customer. Has anyone done this? Is it a feature accessible from
the menu system, and if so, can you get it to at least pass the
Patient's ID in the command line?

Any help would be very appreciated.
