Robert... I don't know if it was mentioned, but if your Mom is
coherent now, it is definitely the time to make sure her living will
is as she wants it. Many people don't think about it, and often the
family is troubled to decide at a time when too much is going on.
With that said, if you know your mom's wishes, and you can respect
them... then just enjoy the time you have together, as much as you
can.
If she is really not much better since you brought her home, then you
can research and talk to the doctors about homeopathic
supplementation. The supplements may help her immune system to better
fight illness off, and hopefully reap the full benefits of the
medications she has to take.
My last thought... it's not how long you live on this planet, but the
quality of life while you are living that makes the memories your
family has of you.
I pray for comfort and peace for your mother and your family.
