I don't believe that you can have a guarantee that a cancer won't recur.
I wasn't comparing the situation with anything else in life.
My onc said that I had a 'good ten year prognosis'. That was honest. He did
say that it didn't cover buses. Five years later his junior said that I was
cured. I was indignant. Not for me but because if he's telling other women
that and then they have another diagnosis of bc the next year or so they are
going to be devastated.
Who can guarantee a non recurrence? Can you??
