True.
I was not suggesting a transplant for your father.
I was illustrating that a (much younger) man than your father can go
through two similar surgeries and have a good outcome.

That's good. It's best to get at it before it does. And/or before he gets
sicker due to loss of blood.
Jerry, had tumors both his kidneys. If I recall his surgery was in year
2001 to remove the tumours (not the kidneys) and he is doing well with no
sign of spread. Each person is different and as I said, they may see
more/better once inside.

True, which leaves an unknown.
There can be other possible reasons for enlarged pulmonary lymph nodes.

It's hard to know what is causing that. There are no guarantees in life.
Could be the enlarged lymph nodes, could be something else.
