I would assume the doc has bad news if he doesnt want to pass on the
info by phone. Or this may have something to do with local way of
charging for a consultation, I dont know. As you suggest maybe he wants
you to have a peaceful Xmas before treatment starts..
In any case I dont think its OK the way you are kept in suspense for so
long.
