You are welcome,I know what fear is,specially regarding the fact that
you have a wife and two children.I don't think you have lymphoma
because,to be true,there would be more signs.Did they do simple chest
X-ray?Lymph nodes can be seen on that X-ray,as well as on abdominal and
pelvic ultrasound.
You don't have polycythemia.It can be clearly seen from your CBC(your
RBC, Hgb and Platelet count are normal,not elevated),and there is no
link between polycythemia and lymphoma.There could be other signs of
it(like splenomegaly-enlarged spleen),but you probably had a decent
physical exam to rule that out-spleen can be palpated.Did you tell your
doctor about your grandfather?
Infectious causes would be able to cause symptoms like these,and GI
symptoms may be linked to it.Lets just wait for Ga scan results,and
than other steps may be considered.Best of luck.
