Thank you very much for contributing
My mom has had her operation (removal of uterus, ovaries and lymph nodes) and
first course of chemotherapy. (I thought these fell under the "generic"
category for cancer treatment). Several months after her last chemo her
cancer markers were up again. She is also visibly sicker, but that's from my
view as a layman.
Right now, the doc has reccomended another course of chemo.
I was wondering if there are more "cutting edge" treatment available at JH
that is not available in most other hospitals that would stand a higher
chance than the above.
And then of course there is a the golden question of how much it would cost,
which is independent of my financial situation.
