numerous periaortic lymph nodes and prominent mediastinal lymph nodes

Hello,
I had a CT of my heart done to determine blockage (calcium) risk.
Fortunately it was really good, but the CT results showed something
else. It said that I had incompletely visualized (since the CT was of
the heart and not the chest) moderately prominent mediastinal lymph
nodes. One was 1.5cm in dia. It also said I had numerous visual
periaortic lymph nodes.
I am scheduled for another CT, but that has been put off again due to
insurance issues. Meanwhile, I'm getting more concerned. Do you know
what this could be a symptom of. I'm looking for the good and bad and
know this is little data. But if someone had the above on a full CT,
what could be a possible diagnois? I'm trying to figure out if I
should just pay for the CT and get it over with or am I being
melodramatic and it's nothing to worry about. My own doctor won't
guess until he has the results. Meanwhile, I'm stressing. Thank you
for your help!
Regards,
Bill
