I had an MRI of my pelvis yesterday and they see something suspicious
(nodular enhancement at the rectosigmoid junction, whatever that is.) in
my colon near my rectum don't know for sure yet but may be more cancer.
They also say there is something going on in my prostrate, it'e swollen
to the limits of normal and they see some cystic change on the right
side so I guess more tests are in order. I'm sick of tests and needles.
I have to go for a colonoscopy tomorrow to view the inside of my
intestines. Hopefully that will show what is happening. If not then that
means it's on the outside of the intestine and in that case almost
certainly would mean more cancer which they have alraedy said they would
not do more surgery on me. So keep fingers crossed that it's not cancer.
If anyone knows in simple english what these things mean (nodular
enhancement and cystic change) please advise me as my doctor is foriegn
and doesn't explain things well sometimes.
