Re: need advice on my father's lung cancer

I contacted his primary doctor today in Calif. I'm in FL. He said as yet
no scans for mets had been done and the bronc biopsy ws hard to get
because of tight broch tubes & blood . All the lab report from the
biopsy says basicaly is "poorly differentiated" so I don't see how they
can treat him if they don't know what form of cancer he has. The doc
said he thought it may be squanas cell but he wasn't sure. Dad had a
fall as I said which cracked a rib a month or two ago so now I'm
wondering after talking with this doctor who didn't seem to know
anything definate except to say they were sure it was cancer really
knows what's going on. Could this mass they see on cat scan be some sort
of injury from his fall and not cancer?
