I find no info on your liver apart from the numbers going up. Has the
liver been scanned properly? Ultrasound, CT, or MRI? If its full of mets
it would explain the rising CEA, the pain you had there and the rising
liver function numbers, which do not have to be booze-related, they can
be mets/chemo.

Yes, My liver was scanned with ultrasound and mri. They siad
unremarkable except for textured or bumpy surface.
What that means I have no idea.
Bumpy liver surface is also typical of liver cirrhosis so.....
The numbers are due to chemo and/or the drinking-damage. Mets on the
outside of the liver dont disturb liver function unless they block (push
on) the bile duct, but your bili is ok so this is not happening.

One says it's prolly scar tissue from removal of
peritonium and omentum. My onc beleives it's the signet ring cell
seeding because she sees a bunch of dots lighting up on the topside of
liver in pet scan. Since I've been off chemo for 5 weeks now the liver
numbers have come back down. ALT & AST are in the 30s and liver alkaline
phosphate serum is down to the low 200s down fro mid 300s before
stopping chemo , GGT is still high around 213.. billirubin has always
remained within range. hemaglobin has been steady between 12 & 13.5. wbc
did drop low once before chemo break which required a shot of neulasta
which shot them up to 15+ for a short time but have been holding at
around 6 ever since. I don't know why the platelets suddenly dumped. My
iron was low when I had the surgery in 12/05 rbc was around 8. normal
for me is 14. I was taking iron suppliments from 12/05 up until 6/06 I
cut them in half since the rbc was holding steady and I was concerned
about axcessive iron. I even syopped taking them for a few weeks. I have
started them back up 1/2 dose since ths plattlet thing but doesn't seem
to be having any effect and the rbc is still staying put. Haven't had
neumega since thursday but am still experiencig bad bone/joint pain,
extreme fatigue w some balance issues and still have some residual
redness on chest & back. The headache has subsided though. They will
test my blood again monday so we shall see what happens.
Forget iron, its only necessary for the rbcs if you bleed chronically.
Your thrombocytopenia is being masked by the IL-11 injections, keep that
onc. off your back at least until you can maintain normal platelet
counts without the jabs. The mets are not in your bones (bone scan was
negative) so the platelets crashed due to chemo. Its not rocket science.
