Re: CAT scan followup

Went to colon doctor and he says not to do the colonoscopy because he
feels (without having even looked at the cat scan) I even got the disc
of it to take with me for him to look at. that it's on the outside of
the colon. He wants to go in with laproscopy and look around and if he
sees anything resectable he'll open me up (on exact same scar line as
first surgery which I thought was not advisable) and get it out. Not
sure about this guy. He is a colorectal surgeon but he also stated
several months ago when we first met at my first colonoscopy when he saw
all the work my surgeon did ( removing a two fist size tumor, appendix,
omentum and peritonium that I was extremely lucky that I got that
surgeon because niether him or anyone he knew would have debulked me. He
said he would have just backed out and sent me home. Not sure I want
someone with an attitude of if it's too hrd won't bother with it
working on me. Unfortunately the surgeon who operated on me is not on my
HMO plan and can't work on me again. It was luck of the draw when I got
him. I went in the emergency room for it and the surgeon that is on my
HMO was on vacation so I got this one. Thinking of dumping this HMO, and
moving to another state where they have better medicare HMOs this one is
only good in two counties and their doctors are all foreigners or
whackos.
