Hi,

Have been taking septrin for nearly the last 3 months post chemotherapy and
becoming increasingly depressed. It's a known side effect, However have
started to be a bit scared after reading

I presume that compared to the chemo this medicine is relatively 'safe' .

What are peoples experiences with this ?

Is there anything better ?

Of course there's something better, but it won't come from your doctor.
If he had something better he'd be giving it to you. Next he'll go with
with the second best thing...and so on. You have to decide which way
you're going to go. Are you going to continue with the method that has
an absymal track record or are you going to save your life?

Millions have died going the route you are embarked on. Their deaths
have been almost universally accompanied by a great deal of suffering.
Those are the facts. Each person hopes that they won't be a part of
those statistics. It's a natural way to think. But the facts remain.

It's up to you to decide. No one else can make it for you.
