I was told by a cancer specialist that a tumor (the case I was discussing
with him was related to lung Ca) can double it's size every 4 mths. Not sure
if it is the same for your case. Anyway, take care and eat plenty of stuffs
like blueberries, pumpkin, vegetables.

Greetings,
I had a surgery on Feb 9th which removed a Lymphoma tumor from my small
intestine. The tumor was "huge", the surgeon showed its size like a fist.
One day in late November 2006 I suddenly felt huge pain in upper left
abdomen, which lasted over night. From then on, the pain came up once a
few days, and became persistent in mid-December. Around the end of
December, I started to get low fever every night. And started to feel
something heavy below stomach late January. I got admitted to hospital
early February, and a CT scan found the big mass in the tummy. The tumor
grew on the gland of small intestine according the surgeon. But I never
felt pain in where the tumor was growing.
My question is: how long did it take for the tumor to grow to this big
size? I eager to know when the problem started. Could the tumor start to
grow when I first felt pain last November, and it took only tow months to
get this big?
Thank you!
John
