Yes I've heard how countries with socialist medicines including canada
have extremely long wait periods for care and treatment and many of the
newer more expensive drugs are not covered. I don't think the problem is
a USA problem alone. While I will admit most of the greed aspect of it
probably is. We have a united nations and a world health organization.
are they only good for the war machines ?
What I tried to envoke in my previous post you responded to was the
need for a common spirit and united worlwide effort to setasie the
legalities, the patent concerns and california gold rush type profit
mentality and work together to do whatever it takes oth physicaly and
financialy to defeat this plague. Free the research community from all
the red tape and legal horse*** and from having to kiss ass, suck up
and blow wind up polticians asses to get funding and from having to
fight the negative spin doctors that the bottomless pocketed
pharmaceuical companies have on staff keeping anything not in the money
pipeline squashed and dicredited. I don't think pointing fingers or my
dog's better than your dog kind of mentality is the ssue steph. the
issue is WAKE THE F@CK UP world, toss all the marbles in one pot and
work together, stop bickering, bantering, milking each other, pointing
fingers, creating mile after mile of red tape and legal bull*** to do
nothing but hinder progress and do whatever it takes to cure this thing
once and for all.
and find something else to get filthy rich off of instead of people's
lives.
Unfortunately, if you don't have all that red tape, and carefully controlled
clinical trials before deciding if a new treatment is a: effective and b:
safe, the first patient whose hair turns blue or gets haemorrhoids after
treatment will sue.
