I have tried megace, it comes in liquid form too. I can't honestly say
that it has helped any. My doc just got my ins. to cover marinol which
is made from marijuana. It is very expensive if your ins. won't cover it
but it is supposd to help with both appetite and nausia. Haven't started
taking it yet so I don't know if it works. I suspect your mouth psin snd
swallowing troubles may be something else like thrush. I went through
over 9 months of chemo and never got it but recently after starting
radiiation I got it or something vey like it. It actually hurt me to
swallow and I got some kind white ickky stuf on inside of my mouth on
sides and tongue. Doc prescribed some swish and swallow stuffthat seems
to be working though I still have no appetite and am losinh weight like
crazy. If I eat just a wee bit I feel full and bloated and my guts burn.
I'm going nuts cause I know I need to eat more, I just can't
