On October 13, 2007, The Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network - BCAN is
sponsoring, "Understanding Bladder Cancer," an educational program
directed at patients, family members and caregivers. This forum will
be held the University of Chicago, Gordon Center for Integrative
Science, in Chicago, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Whether newly
diagnosed with bladder cancer, or in treatment for some time, this
forum is designed to give survivors and their families a complete
overview of the disease, new treatment options and coping mechanisms.
Our panel of experts come from the University of Chicago, University
of Michigan, Northwestern University, and Loyola University. The forum
is free and lunch will be provided. Pre-registration is required, as
space is limited. For more information, or to register, please go to
http://www.bcan.org/
We hope that those of you who live in the area--or are looking for an
excuse to spend a weekend in Chicago--will be able to join us.
