Two days ago, the dermatologist examined my skin with the dermatoscope
(some highly advanced computer system), and found 3 dysplastic naevi.
Scheduled the new exam for three months, but said they could be
removed right away as well. What is the better option? I have to say
that I am a light-skinned 36 years old male with green eyes, easily
get sunburns, with a family history of malignant melanoma (uncle died
from it).
Oncologist's advice would be much appreciated.
Dysplastic naevi may turn malignant, but may not. Your dermatologist is
giving you good advice, but if you are worried about leaving them, have them
removed.
Thank you very much for your advice.
