It is in the way you attempt to rationalize what Lynne did.
So I am guessing that in your twisted mind, if you can paint
the mother as neglectful of her daughter, she deserved what
was done to her.

characterization of the woman in these terms relates to you
and your own feelings about yourself. But this isn't
psychotherapy. No one here is in a doctor or client role.
