If there were no immediate and life-threatening reactions in 1984, and
no infections resulting from the transfusion (blood supplies were much
riskier for things like hepatitis B and C; have you been tested? Also
of course AIDS) then I doubt that there is any physical side effects
from that transfusion that are giving you problems today.
There are rare things, I suppose, but I have no capability to make a
long-range physical diagnosis. In the ensuing 20 years, I am sure that
the well-respected British medical system has had time to check you
over well.
Spiritual questions are a different kettle of fish altogether.
